The Second General Letter of John in the Tyndale21 Version of the Holy Bible (© Copyright 2011 Abbott ePublishing. This is the commandment, That, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. 1:7 For many deceivers have entered into the world who do not confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 1:8 Look after yourselves so we do not let go of those things which we have done, so that we may have our full reward. 1:9 Whoever transgresses, and does not remain in the teachings of Christ, does not have God. He who endures in the teachings of Christ, he has both the Father and the Son. 1:10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, nor give him God’s blessings, 1:11 For he who gives him God’s blessings takes part in his evil deeds. 1:12 I had many things to write to you, despite this, I would not write with paper and ink, but I hope to come to you and speak with you face to face, so that our joy may be full. 1:13 The children of your elect sister greet you. Amen.
