The Third General Letter of John in the Tyndale21 Version of the Holy Bible (© Copyright 2011 Abbott ePublishing. And not content with that, not only he himself fails to receive the brothers, but prevents those who would, and casts them out of the church. 1:11 Dearly loved ones, do not imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God. 1:12 Demetrius has good report of all men, and of the truth, yes, and we also bear testimony, and you know that our testimony is true. 1:13 I had many things to write, but I will not use ink and pen write to you, 1:14 Because I trust I will see you shortly, and we will speak face to face. Peace to you. Our friends salute you. Greet the friends by name.
