The Letter of Paul the Apostle to Philemon in the Tyndale21 Version of the Holy Bible (© Copyright 2011 Abbott ePublishing. Therefore, receive him, who is my own heart, 1:13 Whom I wished to have retained with me, so that in your place, he might have ministered to me in the bonds of the gospel, 1:14 Still, without knowing your mind, I would do nothing, so that good which springs from you would not be from necessity, but willingly. 1:15 Perhaps he departed for a season, so that you should receive him back forever; 1:16 Not now as a slave, but above a slave, a brother dearly loved, especially by me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh, and in the Lord? 1:17 If you count me as a partner, receive him as myself. 1:18 If he has wronged you, or owes you anything, put that on my account; 1:19 I, Paul, have written it with my own hand: I WILL REPAY IT. I do not have to say to you, however, that you owe me even your own lives. 1:20 Yes, brother, let me be profiting from you in the Lord. Comfort my heart in the Lord. 1:21 Trusting in your obedience, I wrote to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say. 1:22 At the same time, prepare lodging for me, too, because I trust that through the help of your prayers, I will be given to you. 1:23 There, salute Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus; 1:24 Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow helpers. 1:25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
