Currently, books are published in .pdf (Adobe Portable Document Format) and Mobipocket formats.

Portable Document Format has become extremely popular as an eBook format. It offers clarity, excellent readability and the ability to faithfully reproduce the authors’ printed word on a readable page.

.pdf’s have become a standard reading format for many devices, including Amazon’s Kindle Reader. Documents can be read on any desktop or laptop using Adobe’s free-to-download Adobe Reader. You can download the latest version at http://get.adobe.com/reader.

Mobipocket is another standard format that is rapidly gaining acceptance. It can be read using the free Mobipocket Desktop Reader, which is downloadable at mobipocket.com. It can be used with the operating systems of a vast array of handheld devices, such as the Blackberry, Palm OS, and on Windows Mobile-enabled handhelds.
